Truckee Tahoe Power Hours provide opportunities to take action outside, between, and beyond demonstrations. Power Hours allow community members involvement in local pro-democracy advocacy, whether we can attend demonstrations in-person or not. Power Hours also allow us to share ideas and build connection between and outside of demonstrations, whether we are full or part time residents.

Each power hour will have educational content and opportunities to take collective action together, or ‘body double’ or ‘co-work’ activism. Each Power Hour will also highlight the work of at least one local organization, campaign, or mutual aid endeavor. Our community has strengths. We seek to highlight and build upon them.
